 Some of the Foods we intergrate into our dogs menus. All of course given in moderation. We also participate trying to keep healthy and fit in our dotage.

Except that some dogs can't tolerate veggies/fruits/oils and develop gastrointestinal distress in response to being fed such.

I have one dog that enjoys 1/2 carrot a day, if I give him more he vomits.

I have another dog that has no interest in veggies and will vomit if she occasionally indulges.

PS: Foods do not cure cancer.

What is good for humans is not always good for dogs.

Who said it cured cancer? And of course not all foods that humans eat are good for dogs. I think that is just plain common sense without having to state the obvious.

However it is well documented that a healthy diet, exercise and weight management in both us and our animals is a very good panacea to longevity and good health. Of course some dogs as in some people cannot tolerate certain foods...that’s just plain common sense (again). Our dogs get all kinds of fresh vegetables and fruits , puréed, and have no issues what so ever. I post these things that interest me and my personal lifestyle and our animals. It’s not for everyone.

"Cancer Smashing"   it is in your post.  

I listened to the homeopathic folks several years ago, my dogs suffered and I had several emergency vet clinic visits because of their advice.

So, I will speak up when I have an opinion, maybe it will save someone the financial expense I endured and the suffering my animals went through because they did not get the aggressive science based medical treatment that they needed soon enough.

In my opinion homeopathic vets, not all, but a lot of them are quacks.    Just my opinion.

Some homeopathic vets may be promoting food/medicines for dogs that do not help them. Some regular trained vets seem to promote foods that they may be getting a discount for whether or not they believe they are the best. Seems to me the best thing to do is is ask around and do your own research. Get opinions from more than one vet if necessary.

No one food/cure works for all dogs homeopathic or otherwise. Many are great for some dogs and not for others. Because it doesn't help my own dog doesn't mean it won't work for others.

I don't feed raw veggies to my doggies but I remember picking wild blackberries and wild rasberries on walks and seeing my Golden doing the same not caring about the prickles. My retrievers picked wild grapes too. But all they got was a taste and that didn't seem to bother them. Maybe there is a difference between a taste and a whole box full. Maybe because they were wild they had not been chemically treated. Who knows?

Angus on the other hand was never interested in fruit. What he preferred was meat - preferably a vole dug up and killed by himself. Failing that a chew on a deer leg he found or a bite of a rabbit was pretty acceptable also.

No carrots, no green beans? Sassy has an issue with this. But then she has never tried any of the mentioned items, only because I am a meat and potato person and never purchased those items. I do buy the carrots and green beans, but rarely eat them myself unless making beef stew.
