That light bulb moment

I have a large raised garden...a few feet off the ground where I grow various veggies. Potatoes being one of them. I was digging up a couple of the plants while Sam patiently was watching from the lawn. His interest peaked when he saw these strange orbs being pulled out of the soil (Sams diet does not include potatoes). Fast forward a few days...this morning while having my coffee in the kitchen, I glanced out into the yard and there was Sam digging like mad unearthing some of the potatoes. Wait till I start digging up the carrots..yikes...he loves those.

and some misinformed people think dogs don’t reason..huh...🤔
