I had my annual Christmas photo shoot with the boys today.  After 27 years of Cairns, it’s getting harder and harder to think of something original!  I had a brainstorm at church this morning as we were singing a carol.

What Christmas carol would you like us to play?

Let's see Kirby and Phinney, what shall you play for us???  Please no French versions of Christmas songs, poodles can do those!  "Little Drummer Boy" is probably someone to chase down the street not sing about! 
How's about a rousing rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry Terriers"?

Really cute face....did you have any problems getting the scarf on? Tewcsby hates having anything put on him especially a coat.

the only thing he doesn’t mind “on” is his collar.

The scarf slips on very easily - he doesn’t mind the ornamentation especially as he gets extra attention!

I have never tried to put a coat on him, but the witch cape and hat one Halloween did not last long enough for a photo!

So very, very cute. I would love it if I could get the girls to wear stuff like that, but it would be destroyed in seconds at our house.

My Mother-In-Law got a Snuggie for her dog and it was to little so she insisted on putting it on Kelly. She got a little upset when Kelly ripped it of and killed it in 30seconds flat. She did it so fast it was unbelievable. :whistle:

Ive never tried again.

Kirby freezes when I put stuff on him and then walks like a raccoon for a while after.  He finally forgets about it and gets in with it.  Phinney tolerated the scarves pretty well, but I made them so the ends didn’t hang down very long to distract him.  Both boys are very good during photo shoots because they know they get high-value treats.  If I hadn't taken the scarves off right after pictures, he would have been grabbing them and racing around the house with them.

I am still trying to get a good outdoor photo to show off Brodie's beautiful red brindle coat - this is the best I could do for now! Even Percy the cat tried to get in the picture.  Brodie is on the left, Pepper on the right and Teddy is the big yellow Lab!!!  Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I'm sure it will all change in a couple of days but with sidewalks to shovel so guests can enter, with food to prepare, with gifts to wrap, and checking accounts to repair, right now I will let little Bonnie express my Holiday Spirit!   However, I am wishing all of you and yours, dogs and all, a very, very Merry Christmas!!!!

Don't have any "official" Christmas photos of the dogs but here's a pic of Nattie meeting our granddaughter for the first time.  They are in love with each other now.
