Last Sunday  I was going to the grocery, and hubby appeared behind my car, I had stopped. He said Keira had gotten out of the house and was running to the car. My heart is still beating very. I had not closed the door  properly and she managed to get it open.

We live on a busy street, with a fenced yard - we have to always be super vigilant with the front door and gate, as you say you can never be too careful. We always make sure where Tewcsby is whenever someone is coming or going.

amen, even now i triple check the doors.Keira thinks cars are for her to ride in and has no thought of them causing harm.😱

Yikes!  These Cairns are such escape artists!  My neighbor came over the other day and commented on all the "dog fencing" (X-Pens) all over the yard and in the house...along with the 3 baby gates as well!  Ha ha!

Ruffy jumps over baby gates... and climbs over the tall ones!😯

Who needs opposable thumbs?... He's able to open pocket doors as well!.. (We make very sure to hide the car keys)!😜
