Tuesday
Just thought I would share a bit of our farm damage - in the grand scheme of things, we had very minimal structural damage, but we have dozens of downed trees that will take weeks to clean up. We are very grateful! We had to scatter as a family, and Murphy rode the storm out with his Dad and Grandma and cousin Bailey. He was a perfect gentleman!! hheldorfer
Looks nasty but (thankfully) not catastrophic. Very glad to hear that Murphy is OK and handled it in true Cairn fashion. How are the goats?
Sam I Am
Looks like all the critters made it through the storm. Must have been a bit "feather"raising for the chickens! Glad you, Muhpy and family are ok! 1 Quote Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. - Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie

We turned them out onto a 10 acre fenced piece of land instead of their usual small 1/4 acre corral of net fence. They were able to hunker down and move away from any dangers.

Goats are very interestting. They are kind of like Cairns in some ways. They love routine, they know their Shepherd, they will follow you almost anywhere, they are affectionate on their own terms.
