Jocks picture

Sam I Am

Recommended Posts

So now we have a new Cairn in our lives. A lovely new boy called Sam. I should replace Jocks picture and his friend Ms Ball with Sam's but strangely enough I can't,   Not yet. Those memories are deep and wide.

Understood. Jock's memories will remain fresh until a time in the future, when Sam will have accumulated many memories all his own. But Jock's memories will always be with you whether or not you change the photo! ❤️

i don't see any reason why you should replace it. jock's with you and with us. i'm using teddy's picture for that reason. you can make your picture whatever you like and change it as often as you like --rotate among jock, rosie and sam if you like. you should certainly do it just as you have an impulse to do. personally i love seeing jock.

Idaho Cairns

We still enjoy the pictures of our departed Cairns--every time we pass them on the walls or on the fridge.  I see no reason to remove them since they are still so much a part of our lives--then and now.

I definitely understand that. They are precious, why change the picture? You are posting pictures of Sam. We will always love them both, and you, and Rosie.

Jock is still with you so why change the picture if you don't want to?  He's one of the Hall of Cairn Fame members of the forum.:)

I don't see a problem with it.  I still have pics of Packy around and love to see them.  We're making new memories with Phinney but that doesn't change the great memories we have of Pack.
