A good article on letting our pets go

Good information but so very, very difficult to read!  Most of us have faced this and all of us will eventually confront it again.  Watching a good dog age is hard--nothing makes it easy.

So right Chuck, the hardest thing I personally had to do was say goodbye to my Jock. But also the kindest...hopefully when it's our time to leave this earth, it will be with dignity and no more suffering.

I also believe that instinctively if you are connected to your animal you just know when it's time. For me it was a very powerful force to end the suffering.

Yes they do tell you and your gut knows anyway. We love 'em, we do the right thing for them when they need it. They did the right thing for us all their lives just by being in our lives.
