Corn Niblet
Otis is very cute! I am picking up my new baby "Gus" Friday April 7. I too am retired and my 15 month old Rocky keeps me from becoming a couch potato. Never a dull moment! I will be keeping a puppy journal on Gus so I can look back and remember the little things we sometimes forget. (I kept one for Rocky too) Good luck to both of us.
Idaho Cairns
Gorgeous pup! No real advice at this time except to be patient with your little charge--take him outside a bunch (since you're retired) letting him find "favorite" places to potty--it will save you all kinds of time in cleaning up his mistakes inside your home.

Popular Post Account Deleted
He is wonderful 4 days in the crate at night , 730-630 I have to wake him up in the morning. Whines for about a minute and goes to sleep for the night. Potty training is going to guide three accidents in the house my fault , I try to take him out at least 5×6 times a day. I live for myself and I am retired recently so I have the time to spend with him. Will you go for a 20 minute walk in the morning, but he's been trying to lay down flat on the ground and stay there, my breeder told me to get Cheerios to give him as a training tool, they work perfectly . He is not a morning eater. So after half an hour I pick the bowl up and he gets up at night . here r a few pics.
