Sam I Am
I didn't even have a chance to totally clean up my garden for the fall. Idaho Cairns
We had a close encounter with this last week and if it had been five degrees colder--our yards would look this way! Now, today it is back to 70 degrees--perfect fall weather and that wonderful October Idaho blue sky.

Ms Molly Mae
It beats flooding and down trees as long as it goes away as quickly as it came. Hope you get some warmer weather to play in.

Ms Molly Mae
Yes we are. I came to the coast so we get away from the white stuff. That white stuff is a little less nerve racking than huge hurricanes. Both can cause power outages. ?
Tuesday
Murphy wants to know what that white stuff is. It's low 60's this morning. I need my winter hat. Brrrrr
Rylee's mama
ugh! I am glad that i live somewhere there is never any of the white stuff. Living in VA during the winter broke me of wanting any of the white stuff.
Sam I Am
Well the good thing about living in this cold climate is that we have very few of the nasty things that plague warmer areas. Like ticks, fleas, dangerous snakes. The cold kills them all. I actually don't mind snow (because I love skiing) but what I hate is the early winters that come and don't go away for 6 months. Hopefully this will melt and bring back a bit of a warmer trend. although we have had winters where stay on the ground snow started mid October and didn't leave til April....yuck. Rosie has her winter boots ready and I am already cleaning off winter clumping snow boots off her feathered legs. Autumn & Lola
I used to love snow up until about 15 years ago. Now, no way. Ugh! However, just looking at that photo makes me want a mug of hot chocolate. How many inches did you get? That sure doesn't look like a dusting!
Sam I Am
A couple of inches, but it is going up to 5degrees Celsius tomorrow so it will melt. This area is known for ridiculous fluctuations in weather, but I think it is time to put on my winter tires! Sam I Am
"They" lied.... it is not warming up and certainly not melting. But what's a bit of snow when I see what's happening on the west coast of British Columbia! Stay dry and safe Islander! Islander
I was so glad that today is Gus's pack walk day and that I didn't have to don the rain gear! He was just delivered home soaking wet and wind blown, of course after being towelled off he still had to roll around on all the rugs just to make sure any mud came off. Terrier Lover, I would still choose the wet stuff over the white stuff any day. The wind is another story. Gus and I are prepared though!

There's no point in going for a walk if you can't bring it home with you.
Hillscreek
And I just got through posting about how bad our drought is. I guess I should be grateful no howling wind or snow here - yet anyway! All Angus brings in is stickers from the dried up bushes. Stay safe cairns and uprights.
