In schools and colleges fall is the beginning of a new year so I tend to think of September and October as a beginning as well as an ending.  Several of our cairn buddies have walked over the rainbow bridge in the last months. Their bodies left us but their spirits remain.

And as some have left us some new young buddies have joined us

Go back in time and sing with The Byrds.

I know - I am hopelessly sentimental! What can I say? I'm an old lady!

On the same note, although I was terribly saddened by the wonderful Cairns who were lost this year, I'm also very happy and excited for the new pups and their owners who have joined the forum.

I had similar thoughts when "Circle of Life" came on the radio not long after Packy died, and we found out about a new baby on the way in the family.

I grew with that music too. Very fitting for our forum at this time. We all feel the pain of loss and the joy of newcomers.
