Nelly's Home

Well, first off, I've been misspelling her name.  Her full name is, "Angus' Nelly of Inverness".  She was bred by Drew and Ann Angus.  The father of her seven puppies is "Caledonian Earl of Grey Wolfpit".  He's all Wolfpit; Nelly has Wolfpit back from her great grand-parents.  Nelly is such a precious baby girl.  She's beautiful in every way I can describe and, of course, 100% CAIRN!  Teddy once again has someone to chase squirrels with, and sniff and explore things with.  At Teddy's acupuncture appointment yesterday, the vet said his mouth (where he had the tumors that were removed) is much better, and also his haunches.  He's overall better.

Sorry we haven't gotten any good pics yet.  Nelly's just so full of life and affection, she's just a joy to watch and to love.  Her one weakness is, "The Gerbils".  That's OK.  They're totally safe and they keep her entertained.  Maybe not so much time to miss the puppies.

Oh, I really like Nelly's breeder, Kelli Winkler.  She got into the "whole thing" after her 6 kids had left home, and she got to know Lydia Hutchinson (Wolfpit Cairns).  She and I are going to maintain a friendship...a little bit of a drive (65 miles or so, Frederick, MD).   She's a member of Potomac Cairn Terrier Club, and their next event is at her home.  She's also going to teach me how to use the Madan rake and wire brush I just bought...since Nelly is so inured I can groom her freely.  (No hope for Ted.  )
