Looks to me like a Border  terrier or a Border terrier cross. Very sweet face.

There is a golf course in our park. They use dogs to chase away the geese. I like that because Malcolm loves to go for the goose droppings. Yuck. How can those things be so tasty?

Yes that was a very interesting story.

To poop is to be happy! :P

Well that came out kind of wrong! What I meant is that when our dogs go potty, we are all happy.

Thought this was interesting.  They refer to the dog as a "ratter" but it *has* to be a terrier, don't you think?

If I'm not mistaken, the term "ratter" encompasses all rat catching breeds, so would include terriers but also doesn't eliminate other dogs bred for rat hunting, such as various pinschers. So ratter would really refer to the profession of the dog; terrier would be the grouping. Then there would be a specific breed of dog (Cairn, Border, Affenpinscher). So not all ratters are terriers but all terriers are ratters. Rectangle/square phenomenon.

That dog looks like it has some Brussels Griffon in addition to some type of terrier to me.

As for poop, I never realized how much I'd talk about poop until I got my own dog. The life I lead, sitting down on my couch going, "When did my dog last poop?" I always wonder what dogs think about the fact that we pick up their poop? Do they wonder what we do with our own poop?

"as far as i am concerned cairns are the original spirit from which all terriers spring, and all terriers are cairns very deep down inside." pkcrossley

I heard this a while ago and always loved it...

If aliens were watching us, and they saw one creature walking ahead, and the other one scampering behind, picking up its poop, who would they think is in charge? :D

Fun article.  Piri is lucky to have such high status and be employed. :)  Nice to have a little respect.
