Popular Post tlwtheq
I talked to Lydia Hutchinson (Wolfpit Cairns) this week, and then her friend and fellow breeder, Kelly Winkler. Kelly is the one with a new bunch of pups right now. She's letting the girls go to homes where they will be bred. (Don't know why, but I want another little girl.) Teddy needs some Cairn company; he's been too sedate since we lost Olie and Sweet Pea. The bunny and the cat are a big YAWN (for him). It turns out that the mother of the pups, owned by Kelly, is up for adoption. She, "Nellie" is 4 years old. We're second in line so that might not work out. What excites me is that Lydia and Kelly understand our "empty space" here in the Wilk household, and are happy to help us find a new family member. We're really excited! 16 Quote Max and Nelly

bradl
Oooh that sounds exciting. Even if doesn't work out, stay in touch with both. Getting yourself in front of mind will pay off. I will see Lydia late July and put in a good word if needed 3 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? hheldorfer
I'm happy to hear that Teddy may be getting a new playmate! I think it's wonderful, Tara. Nellie would be wonderful, but if that doesn't work out at least you now have someone in your corner to recommend other options. Can't wait to hear what happens next in the Wilk househould! Sam I Am
That would be so great Tara!. I would love to have a mature Cairn offered up for a new home. For some reason or another there are never any available Cairns in our area. Good luck, hope you get her! tlwtheq
We're still in the running for Miss Nellie. If Kelli Winkler and hubby George have time we get to meet her this weekend. She looks a lot like Sweet Pea, is currently 3 years old, is a beautiful mellow pup, and will be ready for adoption on August 7, coincidentally the birthday of my first Cairn Holdsworth (1983). I would love to adopt, cuddle, and spoil her! We'll see how it works out; I'm very excited! Usually, I think of Tuesdays in the frame of mind, "So Happy It's Tuesday", (you get the idea). I'm happy to live in the moment today and love life. 8 Quote Max and Nelly

Dempsy's Mom
The anticipation of another cairn is wonderful in itself. Soon Tara, whether it's Nellie or not, you will be blessed with another little bundle of terror. Happy for you! tlwtheq
Yes, she is! I encouraged the breeder, Kelli Wiinkler, to join Cairn Talk. Maybe we'll hear from her. (Understand it's a personal choice.) Quote Max and Nelly
