Popular Post kjwarnold
Spring has sprung in the Missouri Ozarks! We spent some time out on the dock yesterday pulling hair (DH says there are lots of hairy jellyfish floating in the lake now) and looking for fish. I love grooming out in the dock because I can just throw the hair around and the wind blows it away. The water is still too low to jump in to fish and swim, so Packy is not happy. We do a bit of shore fishing and wading, but it's just not nearly as much fun. Kirby keeps looking for his duck buddies. The boys held a nice Stay for about 5 minutes while I tried to get some pictures in the flowers. Unfortunately, Stay does not hold their heads in place, so Kirby is looking around like an owl, swiveling his head every which way. Packy will stare dead on if I start talking about fish. By the way, Kirby is doing great after his Addison's Disease diagnosis last November. With the monthly Percorten shots and daily Prednisone, you would barely know he has a problem. I'm still learning when to give him a Pred boost for stressful situations, but overall we're doing well. That's Packy on the left and Kirby on the right... hheldorfer
That's a beautiful photo of the two of them! Great to hear that Kirby is still doing well, too! P.S. This is the second Pack & Kirby pic I have added to my screen-saver slideshow. Edited April 6, 2016 by hheldorfer
sanford
Good news about Kirby! Loved the pic. Just curious...If they don't have tags or collars on, is it easy or hard to tell them apart? Quote FEAR THE CAIRN!

Dempsy's Mom
So precious - they both are. I had to chuckle when you mentioned that Packy will put himself in a bit of a trance if you talk about fishes. Dempsy does this too when I talk about gator rides. They like to listen to stories of what has won their hearts. Glad Kirby is doing well - soon it will be time to swim. We had the pool out a couple of weeks ago - Demps gets so excited to see the pool come out. Now the pool sets emptied again and waiting on another sunny warm day. 1 Quote Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori

Just curious...If they don't have tags or collars on, is it easy or hard to tell them apart? A lot of people ask this when they first meet the boys! Nope, we have no trouble telling them apart. Packy has dark ears and dark tail, plus more dark hairs in his coat, he's wheaten. Kirby is mostly cream and has a baby face; he always looks like a puppy. I can tell them apart in the dark by feel, too. Packy has coarser hair and is huskier, Kirby has longer hair and his whole body is but more delicately made, a smaller frame. remltr
Sassy says to ask the boys if the boys want to double date. She thinks double dating is two boys and one girl. 3 Quote Sassy Jan 22, 2005 AM. CH. THARRBARR LITE MY FIRE ZOMERHOF

A true double date involves two *couples*, Sassy. Buffy has volunteered to join you and will give you first pick of the boys.

Kjwarnold would need to confirm but I believe it is Vinca Minor. I have some in my yard that looks identical to the picture.
