We went to New Orleans for a farm show - just got back yesterday.  When we arrived at our hotel and I went to unpack the suitcase - this is what I found.  I am certain it was Demps.  It broke my heart to see that he packed his little chew in Jim's suitcase.  He wanted to make sure we remembered him.  Talk about feeling guilty.  So I locked the chew in the hotel safe along with the other valuables.

Picked them up last night.  They were so happy!  Both got baths and they ran around the house checking everything out.  They slept like logs.  All is as it should be again.

Well that's just … precious. My heart would have melted seeing that. Our guys are always trying to stand in the suitcase when someone's packing but that little going-away gift takes the cake.

That fact that you put it in the hotel safe. . . That's what took it from sweet to tear-inducing.

He really is a thoughtful, considerate little dog in many ways.  Next week is his dental cleaning and his tooth removal so I am really loving him up and he is soaking it in. :wub:
