It Feels Like Spring!

It sure felt like spring yesterday and today!  Unfortunately, the wind was blowing 35 mph yesterday with 60 mph gusts so we didn't go out much.  Poor Kirby almost got blown over when he had a leg lifted while taking care of some business!  Today though, it's just a light breeze and it's in the 50s, feels great with the sunshine!

After a nice long walk, we went for a Ranger ride, did a little mudding and then retrieved some trash that had blown in yesterday.  We scored by finding a target for bow and arrow.  Who knows how far away that came from.  Glad it didn't blow up to the house and hit a window!

As you can see from the pic, Packy sits nicely next to me and navigates.  Kirby, on the other hand, thinks he's the hood ornament.  You don't let go of him!

We must of had similar weather - that's exactly what we did.  I took Demps and Els in the gator and we drove around doing a few chores.  The smell of spring was in the air and I enjoyed watching them take it all in.  Demps sat by me in the front seat, his nose was lifted slightly, his head was tilted soaking up the sunrays and his little eyes were twinkling and somewhat lazy, the wind was blowing his wispy hairs.  He was in heaven.  They took turns riding in the front.  Elsie also let herself soak up the rays, but then she shook herself out of it and was on the look-out for a rabbit.

Great pics!  Love the wind blowing their hair too.
