Ok... I give up! I just have to ask the question... What's up with that prosthetic-looking thing that looks like Ivy's left front leg? Is it a stuffed toy? Is it some kind of new doggie shoe-stocking combo that I never heard of?  I kept reading and re-reading the posts and scrutinizing the pics, but no clue!

Am I the only one in the dark??

I believe Ivy's little sock is protecting her dewclaw removal site.

Yes, she had a dressing on her leg where the dew claw was removed and I put a sock over it so it did not get damp or chewed!  She no longer has a dressing on now.  The dressing did not stop her doing things but now she is back to normal completely!
