Do they chew them off? Just let them melt? Oban does a shake and then likes to jump on the couch to rub them off on a blanket. We discourage this though...

Why do you discourage that? ;) Both of my dogs are melters usually.  I try to get most of the snow off, but they run around the house and drip.  Elsie doesn't get balls like Demps - that's why I was so amazed at the size and nature of her one ball. :)

Lola says, "I want snowballs!  Where do you get these snowballs?  Mummy lets me play with an ice cube sometimes, but it's not the same thing."

Lola probably instead of snowballs mostly gets drippy pantaloons! :D:D

How would Lola even know she had snowballs?  She's white, they're white . . . it would be very confusing for her.  :P

Yes, Lola would love snowballs.  Has she ever had snowballs?

Nope!  We did get a dusting of snow a few weeks ago but barely enough to reach her toenails. :D

That is VERY true - ol' soggy bottom as well! :D

That's true. Good thing it rarely snows here - otherwise we could lose her in the backyard! :D
