Introducing Reilly RedSky.  He is our 4th, a little male a bit over 6 pounds.  He is just 11 weeks and a day old in this picture.  He was probably the alpha male of the litter.  He is indeed going to be ............ that should say...... he is a live wire.   We are blessed to have him and hope we can give him a grand and long life.

Hopefully I will soon get a youtube video up, but for the past 3 days I have been preoccupied.  Please see question about housebreaking and any advice welcome.

  • 2 weeks later...

I miss watching them grow and learn.  Because of their intelligence Cairn pups seem to signal that mental growth constantly, especially when there is an older Cairn mentor.  At my age I'm thinking that I have enjoyed that particular joy for the last time and that kinda saddens me but not to the point that I am morose or anything like that.  Thank goodness the homeowner covenants here only allow two dogs or this house would be alight with the little wonders.
In any case, a new owner should enjoy each moment, record them, commit them to memory because they are just precious.
