shergry
Not sure why this happened today. I posted a reply to a topic and it posted twice. First time this has happened, just wondering if I need to do something different. Or what was I did wrong in the first place. Thanks for any help. bradl
Which topic? I sincerely doubt you did anything wrong at all. Double-posts are somewhat common for a variety of reasons. Sometimes the server hiccups; sometimes we hit refresh before a post is finished posting (due to a temporarily slow server or internet connection) and the software dutifully posts both the first request and the repeat. Regardless it's just a hiccup so I always clean up them by deleting one of the duplicates when I see them. Anyone can 'report' a broken or duplicate post (link is at the top of each post, next to the time posted) if I miss one and I'll clean it up. Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? bradl
Oh, the irony! As much as I wish I had thought to do that on purpose, that too was an accidental double-post. Wheeee. shergry
Thanks. At first I did think you were showing me how it can happen to anyone. But it seems now that I try to look at the topic "Tummy ache"...my posts do not show up. My computer and internet access apparently need an "Tums" Lots of burping going on....thank goodness that end and not the other. I will let it go....and look later. Something I did for sure has caused "gas" in my post.
bradl
Don't feel alone. I think there IS something going on as I'm experiencing an unusual number of double-posts this morning. I have to leave for obedience class in a moment so it will be a few hours before I can clean up any posting calamities today and do more investigation... Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions?
