bradl
If you want to post something and avoid spoiling a result for others (such as the outcome of an event that many watch live but others may not get to see until later) you can format your text using the spoiler tag. If you want to include detailed content in a post but also allow people to read the main information and skip over the details unless they want to "dig in deeper" you can format your post using the spoiler tag. You can even write a quiz with answers using the spoiler tag. But which formatting button does this magic? Spoiler It's the "private eye" To use the spoiler tag it's easiest to type your text as you normally would and then format it after you're done. When you've got your text entered, select the paragraph(s) that you want to temporarily hide and with those paragraphs highlighted click the private eye. Your text will be wrapped with a toggle to alternately Reveal or Hide the specially formatted text. While it's not often used, the spoiler tag can be very useful in certain situations.
