bradl Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Hmm, I just looked at the outgoing email and we're sending *a lot* of notifications out and most show as delivered so the email configuration of the host appears to be set up correctly. There are two areas of notification setup, as shown in these screen shots. (click to embiggen) The bell icon is just a shortcut to your Account Settings → Notification settings. In addition to setting Follow preferences you can further specify which method(s) to use for what types of activity. Just to double-check and confirm, you have the slider set to green for Email on the types of things you want to get email about? Let me know if the way yours are set match your experience so far. bradl Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 I found some default settings that may have been overriding our ability to set preferences for replies to things we follow. I reset the defaults and your notifications. If you get flooded with email you now know how to change them back Note: the system sends "bulk" mail like this in small batches at intervals that are driven by site activity. Thus the notifications may appear near instant sometimes and somewhat delayed other times. I'll check tomorrow the outgoing mail logs to see if the system has been sending you anything.
