Idaho Cairns
I would simply google "cairn rescue" and see what comes up in your region--there are several legitimate rescue organizations out there and if you take the time and effort you can probably find a fine Cairn that needs you. Don't overlook some of the Scotty rescue organizations either--they can be a legitimate source for Cairns as well.Good luck--rescuing a Cairn is a good way to go--I have had good luck with "2nd hand Cairns"--the breed is just so flexible that they seem to adjust well in new situations. sanford
Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue, Cairn Rescue League, Cairn Rescue USA , can all be accessed online. All or some of these volunteer organizations work nationwide and can connect you with cairns for adoption in your area. In some cases the volunteers will transport a cairn to you. I adopted Carrington from Col. Potter, and found Ruffy on Petfinder. Quote FEAR THE CAIRN!
