:toxic: Just received this recall alert from Dog Food Advisor and wanted to pass it on. It appears that listeria has been found in some of Stella and Chewy's products distributed throughout the USA. They are voluntarily recalling a number of freeze-dried and frozen products. Here is the link to their site, giving info: Stella and Chewy's Dog Food Recall of 2015

Too bad. I've understood that Stella and Chewy's has always been considered a good, high-quality product, but there you are... We all know that contamination can occur in both human as well as pet food processing.

Sorry, gone to the dogs... I was just trying to be helpful.

I formed my opinion of Stella and Chewy's from reviews, vet advice and how dogs were doing on it... just like you! But I shouldn't have editorialized re the quality... We all know there is an unending debate as to which food is good, best or better for our pooches!

I'm going to have a cookie and a time-out!
