Hillscreek
Found it this early summer morning. Blue skies, sun, no wind, all still and quiet, humidity and temp lower. We are walking where the creek enters the lake. A couple of bull frogs in the bullrushes, a great blue heron lifting out of the water, two fisherman talking quietly as they let their bass boat into the water, small birds twittering. All so lush and fresh and green after rain a couple of days ago. And best of all a small, red brindle cairn terrier named Angus making a little splash of color as he checks out what might be in the vegetation by the water - always careful not to get his toes wet.

Autumn & Lola
Isn't it funny how we keep building bigger and better buildings, more luxurious homes and mind-blowing tech toys, but when we want tranquility and peace and to be refreshed - we all return to nature. Nothing on TV or the internet or smart phones will ever replace that feeling - the sights and smells, the colors and wind and water and all the lovely animals.
