Morning walks

Dempsy's Mom

Recommended Posts

This morning it is dreary, but there is no wind.  The meadow larks are singing like crazy. Peaceful. I take Demps and Elsie out in the cow pasture for their walks.  Dempsy is waddling around enjoying himself.  Elsie is bouncing through the grass.  Dempsy is having great sniffers.

"Sniff, sniff.  Mmmm, what's this? A pile of really good stink."  Dempsy looks over his shoulder to see where mum is at and then goes in for the neck dive.  "Oh boy, oh boy is this gooood stinkers!  What a great find & a fun morning."

Elsie runs over.  Sniffs at Dempsy's find.  "Wowsy!  That's great stink.  Do you think there is enough left for me?"

"I think so Els.  If you come in from this angle I think you can get some too."  Elsie dives in.  Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.  "Oh this is really really good stink."  Elsie gets up.  "Ok Demps, sniff me.  Do I stink?"

"Good to go Elsie!  You smell just  like me."  They continue to search for more stink, but nothing as good as that stuff.  Soon mum starts the gator and that's their signal that it's time to go.

"Well Elsie, it's time to let mum in on our little secret."   :halo:
