[Dempsy's Mom]

This morning Elsie and I hurried out the door and Dempsy followed with great anticipation of coming along.  "No, no Demps" as I lifted him back into the house.  Dempsy doesn't like to combine, but Elsie lives for it.  While in the combine I remembered - "Oh Elsie!  It's Dempsy's birthday!"  "Oh boy, Dempsy is going to be mad,"  Elsie said.  So we stopped back at the house and picked Demps up.  He wasn't to thrilled about combining on his birthday, but that's the best we could do.  Dempsy did get to chase a rabbit.  He's getting scratches and loves.  But no special treats or toys - mom failed.

 

I told Demps tomorrow I will take him for a gator ride.  Number 5 was kinda a bummer.
