Rosie...the honoraria SCairn.

Thanks a million for doing this Brad. Hug. :)

Scottie's have very similar traits as Cairns ...of course they are both terriers. But they certainly are more serious. Jock was a wild thing Rosie not so much. Although she does have her zoomie moments and is determined to get that rascally squirrelly !

Oh thank you for this great idea Terrier Lover and thank you for Brad allowing it!

I love, love, love our Cairn family but I also love hearing about their siblings, and the wonderful dogs that come into families after wonderful Cairns. Our Scairn Rosie, Ziggy, Wert (and Digger!), Tonto & Beebo, and our new boy Dustin and everyone I forgot (sorry!). I'm glad we have a permanent place to hear all the fun stories (and hopefully see lots of pictures) of all the non-Cairn members of our Cairn families.

Rosie is so super cute. I love that nose! Perhaps Jock realized what he'd put you through and decided to train Rosie to make life easier on you. That being said, I see a bit of a mischievous glint in her eyes . . .

yes, i think she looks a bit crafty, in the same way as a cairn. scotties are broken off from the cairn type ancestors, a nice black cairn with the right haircut could crash a scottie party any time (actually, scotties can be any color, so just get the right haircut and nose). there is a lot of cairn under the hood. maybe about as much as a person needs...

LOLA!!!! I'm so sorry! Is it crazy that I've thought of you as a white Cairn for so long that I totally forgot you were a Westie?

Love the picture. Rosie looks like she in thinking "Go ahead mom, take the picture. Then I'll chew up your shoe when you aren't looking."

Haha. To be honest....I think of her as that as well. So much so, that when Brad made this sub-forum, for a minute I didn't realize it applied to Lola. Then I thought......hey....! That's right! She's NOT a Cairn.

The look on Rosie's face is so expressive. I can't tell if she's totally chilling out or planning something sneaky. ;)

Rosie gave me the impression she was enjoying total relaxation while she plotted the next bout of mayhem.

Rosie is gorgeous, her coat is so shinny and those eyes of hers are beautiful....talk about windows to the soul, Rosie seems to saying so much with those eyes.  Thank you for sharing her photo.
