bradl
Kitchen remodels can get so complicated your brain melts after a while. One thing we love is the microwave drawer, but we overlooked one teeeensy detail: the dogs. Turns out the microwave drawer vents at the bottom, which is temptingly close to nose-level for dogs Whenever I nuke something particularly appetizing, there's Dundee tasting the air. http://www.cairntalk.net/gallery/image/1150-dundee-micro/ click to play The first time I saw him doing this I was thinking "WHAT is he doing?" until I realized it was just the vent. 5 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? Lynn in TN
How funny. I love the microwave and it looks like Dundee does too.
hheldorfer
Looks like the microwave is low enough for your dogs to use it themselves. Better hope they never get an appetite for microwaved rotten squirrel.
Hillscreek
Dundee can show the others how to do more than just smell good smells. Fix something good for themselves. Those little paws - so like small hands.................
Malcolm's Dad
That is one drawer that will always stay clean.
Kathryn
Yummmm....at our house, though, it is still the dishwasher that has most of the goodies...though of course sometimes ice from the freezer (located at the bottom of our refrigerator) falls through its wire bin, and Oban has learned to dive into the freezer to get the ice. Such connoisseurs, our cairns!
tlwtheq
Is Dundee better integrated into the family than he was at one time? He's really cute in the video clip! Quote Max and Nelly
bradl
Dundee is adorable as long as the sound is turned down Are you maybe be thinking of Granger (our "returnee")? He's much as he always was: 99% sweetheart and 1% troubled. He loves to work and obedience class has helped him a lot. 1 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? tlwtheq
You're right! I was thinking of Granger. Sounds like the whole family is doing well. Quote Max and Nelly
_whits_
Love it! Looks like an excellent spot for Dundee to make his own. Addie wanders into the kitchen with me a lot, but only out of confusion, "Mom, what are you doing in this room? Are you sure you even know how to work the stove? I've never seen it on." Brad - any chance of recent photos of your whole current gang? I'm not sure I've ever seen a pic of Granger. bradl
I'm heading to Bend for a dog show and obedience trial this weekend so might try to get a few blurry phone snaps 1 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions?
