Dempsy's Day so far

[Dempsy's Mom]

Dempsy positions himself in his favorite spot when people come over to discuss business.  It never fails Demps is always under the table taking a snooze and listening to the new game plans.  It is essential that Dempsy keeps up-to-date on all business ventures.

 

Then, after the business meeting, Demps goes out, hoping for a quick dip in the pool to relax himself after all the tension of the meeting.  He was hoping that the ice was thawed .... but was disgusted to find snow on top of his ice.  Rats. Windy, Cold, Snow and Ice - "Take me back in mom for a nap."

I'm not surprised that Dempsy attends all the business meetings.  As Farm Manager, it is his responsibility to keep up with all the latest goings-on.  I suppose Elsie has better things to do than listen to two guys talking about boring stuff, huh?  She'd rather be checking orphaned calves and making sure no critters have invaded the property.

Yes, we are pretty disgusted with the snow, ice and cold here too.  Oban was also angling for a nap this afternoon - I told him I would join him on the couch...

Excellent photo capturing Dempsey's disgust!! Poor guy. You'll have to post a pic of him all happy in the pool once it warms up.

Mandy used to sit under the table when I interviewed clients. She often snore (loudly). Some of the clients got a kick out of that.

 

I agree with Terrier Lover - time to get a heated pool. Maybe Demps sits in on the business meetings to see if it is in the budget this year.

I suppose.  I will have to bring it up at next months farm meeting, but by then Demps will have forgot all about it.  Sunday we are back in the 70's for all week.  The pool will be back in service.

Oh that face.....Demps looks upset that there's ice in his pool but have no fear Demps, Mom says it's going to be back in the 70s this weekend.  Maisie wants to know if you can send some of that warm weather here to MA so she can go out and have fun too.  

 

Maisie has been hinting around for a pool like Dempsy's, so if she's really good, I may surprise her but don't say anything, it's a secret.

Very glad you take time to listen to business plans Demps. Makes it easier for a Farm Manager like you to supervise things.
