Vijo
Hi. Newish member and first time Cairn owner. We've had Acorn since 9.5 weeks old. He's 8 months old now and is a cherished member of our family. We couldn't be happier with our pup. He's affectionate, smart, curious and makes us very happy. Heres a not too good picture of him. I'll get better ones and post them when I can. Sorry :<( Didn't read that I was supposed to put my user name as the topic before I posted. Admins, please change. Thank you. Added my favorite picture of Acorn and my son. Edited December 9, 2013 by Vijo
Hillscreek
Hello and welcome. Acorn you are a doll. Look so sweet peeping out from your son's arms with that typical cairn face!
Autumn & Lola
Welcome to you all! Both are adorable! Love the name Acorn.
Vijo
Thank you both for the welcome! My son picked out the name Acorn and we knew immediately that it was perfect. They're both "little, brown and cute" he says.

kieiras mom
welcome, Acorn and son are beautiful. Or should I change that to handsome. Keira would love to have a nice kid to play with instead of a pokey mom. Welcome again and visit often.
mom42terrificgirls
Adorable! Love the name! So simple but says a lot! Quote http://www.cairntalk.net/gallery/image/1096-/
Vijo
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and compliments! I look forward to being here and sharing the adventures of Acorn the sock and heart stealing Cairn. Here's a sample of his curiosity. Hey Daddy what're you doing? I can't see. Oh that's much better.
Autumn & Lola
Haha! Great pics! They do like to be in the thick of things! They are so curious and inquisitive. (or nosy!) I had a post on here - DIY Lola. She loves to "help" whenever Daddy is involved in a project. Someone suggested a little toolbelt for these little "helpers". _whits_
Hahahaha, great picture.. Results are in: you have a Cairn. They bring new meaning to the word "nosey". Vijo
A couple of new pictures of Acorn. This is what I get when I try to use the computer sometimes. Jumps on the back of my chair, under my arm to climb on my keyboard tray; if I don't push the keyboard under quickly he'll just step all over it. Then just sits there as if to say, "I'm more important than anything you could be doing here".
CharlaysServant
Love the pic of Acorn on your back!!! Hilarious!! Exactly how I imagine any Cairn would do.

Autumn & Lola
Great pics, he is so cute! Just a small correction though - he is not trying to walk all over your keyboard. He is trying to communicate with his Cairn family here on the forum. Lots of the Cairns here post regularly when their uprights aren't looking. He may have been trying to submit his application for CUR (the Cairn Underground Revolution), of which Eli is the grand poobah.
Vijo
Thank you everybody. And now I will make sure not to move the keyboard so he can keep in touch with his extended family . Although the CUR sounds like bad news; I may have to watch over him a bit
