A walk in the snow

It was a perfect winter day. Sunny, snowy, no wind, not too cold. Cross country skiers having fun. Ice fishermen frustrated - like Angus - as not safe out there on the ice yet.

Walkers and dogs enjoying the path plowed for us by the park people.

I couldn't let Angus run free. Dogs drown every year because they run out on ice that can't support their weight.

Nevertheless we had a good time.

You can glimpse the lake behind the trees in the last pic.Poor Angus he was begging to be let go!

BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for sharing. Poor Angus, but definitely for his own good. I'm sure he still enjoyed your walk!

It looks very peaceful there and I'm sure Angus had a good time even though he was leashed.

Here (near Chicago) we haven't had any snow to speak of yet.  Got a fraction of an inch today which will be gone if the sun shines tomorrow.  I'm not a huge fan of snow but we need the moisture and Buffy and Ziggy love to play in it.

Looks like a lovely - if cold - walk. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love hearing about Angus' adventures.
