Happy Halloween

Look what I found in a pile of leaves today! This is going to have to do for costumes this year. After blowing and burning leaves for hours today, I just didn't have the energy to dress them up and do a full photo-shoot. I'm sure they're grateful, too! We don't get trick-or-treaters here, so I don't feel too bad.

We would love to see pictures of your Cairns dressed up!

PERFECT PHOTO! Happy Halloween! That's what Demps and I did today too - raked some leaves in a pile but we lit them on fire - I would of had a roasted Demps.

Well, glad we could make your birthday a nice one!

Packy & Kirby really do like to have their picture taken because they know they get treats. I had some dried chicken in my pocket, so they were alert and pretty well-behaved. Kirby didn't like the feel of leaves all over him too much, plus he had to look away a few times because squirrels were running around, but he did pretty well. I had a hard time getting him to put his ears forward though; they were always turned sideways. Packy was totally focused on me (ears forward) and the treats in my pocket. No threat of him running off to chase a squirrel; treats rule! In fact, when I get the camera out, he gets all excited. They're just too smart for my own good!

Well, they both look adorable on that bed of leaves. Buffy wants me to print a full-size poster of them so she can put it in her crate.

Oh, yes - She took me for a walk in the morning and let me scratch her and rub her belly later in the evening. I'm very fortunate!

Charlie as a lion at dog day care party.. I can see by the look on his face he is thinking "I look ridiculous in this!" Good thing the costume only lasts for the picture and taken off after that so he can go back to playing with all the other dogs.

No worries! And yes, I always look for Cairn cards but apparently no one knows how photogenic they are.

Oh - that is the cutest most sweetest little lion cub I have ever seen. What a perfect costume for a cairn. No, Charlie you don't look ridiculous - you do look a little embarrassed - so cute - but you have to get your mind into it "You are the King of the Doggie Day Care! Now bark like the true lion that sleeps deep inside every cairn!" ..... Thanks for the pic. I love it.
