Lonesome Saturday

Jack

Recommended Posts

For the past several weeks I have been working VERY long hours. I can keep up with the forum from work but can't post. I finally got a single day off and as it turns out the wife has taken Jack & Belle on a weekend trip to run a half marathon and visit family. It is very quiet and lonely around here. The cats are old and rather subdued, not much activity out of them - eat and nap. I was looking throught some recent pictures and decided to post a few. It will give me something to do and maybe someone else will enjoy them to.

When Jack is around he is usually my shadow.

Jack & Belle are always ready to play.

They will run and play on their own for a while.

Then they will meet up for some sparring.

A quick, cooling dip.

A short rest, then start over.

The old tom cat, Bubba, thinks it is a spectator sport!

Hope everyone enjoys. I think I need to start doing video again, I miss the noises.

Very nice pics! Thanks for posting them. :) Why not take advantage of the quiet house and get some much need (I imagine) rest? I'd be crashed out on the couch, pizza place on speed dial, watching a marathon of bad TV. :)

They looked like they were really enjoying themselves -- thanks for sharing! Loved the ones of them just standing in the water. And I can just imagine what old Bubba thinks of it all!

Really liked the photos. I see what you mean about the old cats not giving you much entertainment. :). Love the pics of them in the stream fighting over the stick. Thanks for sharing.

This would be a good time to go out and grab up another Cairn Terrier. When the family returns you can always explain it by saying "I was lonely, honey."
