The Midland Cairn Terrier Club in UK have a Cairn Day each October which is held not too far from me. We have usually gone along and Holly has not been keen to join in any events.

However, today we went and have come home with rosettes for

First in Long Stay

First in Dog in Best Condition

First for Best Oldie aged over seven

And she won some chews, a tug toy and a tartan lead!

Other members from our UK Forum came along too and they also won rosettes but not as many as Holly!

I am really pleased especially as I have never particularly trained her to stay, I feed her and exercise her as I feel is right but never sure that what I have done is right. For the condition and oldie she beat dogs that are shown on a regular basis too!

But would not care for the judge having a poke at me to see what condition I was in!

Thanks for the link -- it sounds like it was such a fun show! Must have been pandemonium during the Sausage Catcher contest, though!! Holly did very well, but I do think that Oinkie got too much press -- should have been more pics of Holly!
