out of state grooming

Mike I want to be helpful but simply can't--don't know the area and we don't groom our Cairns using professionals. I gather from discussions here that finding a professional groomer for Cairns is difficult since not many will employ the hand stripping method to get the look most want in their Cairns.

I also have noted that there is a lot of disappointment with some of the grooming that has resulted. I guess my best advice would to locate several groomers in the San Antonio area and ask them directly if they can/will groom a Cairn and then show them a picture of what you want your Cairn to look like--take pictures of Westy Cuts, Schnauzer cuts, and Scotty cuts with huge red lines running diagonally thru them--no beards, no skirts, and no ship prow- jutting eyebrows!!!! Good luck and thanks for asking--wish I could have given you some better advice.
