high load error ?

anyone else getting that "experiencing high load server error" sometimes when browsing? :D

been happening for 2days, not sure if brad knows about it :twisted:

it goes away after 5-10 minutes

Oh I'm aware and it's driving me crazy. Site is so slow too. Thank you for your patience.

What's most likely happening is that since we're on a shared server (and a shared database server) there is possibly someone new being hosted on the site who may have either insane traffic, or some poorly behaved scripts. My view of the index page shows the server load at the bottom and it's been consistently in the 16-35 range ... it should be in single digits at most.

Our web host will sort them out eventually (or send me a nastygram if something has been hacked in our our account and is behaving badly).

These things usually resolve over time, which is fortunate since there's not really much I can do. :confused:

Yeah no biggy! I mean if it only happens once every so often, it's okay and im sure we all dont really care :P

but yeah just wanted to give a heads up, thanks for keeping us safe

Yes it has been bugging me too. Seems I'm a Cairn Talk addict and have had a few withdrawals especially Friday and Saturday. I couldn't get on here for 2 hours Friday, and when I finally did it was a snails pace. lol My DH was laughing at me saying I was a Cairn Talk addict. He's right. My day just isn't complete until I have my Cairn Talk!
