Today is Bailey's birthday, and unbelievably he is 9 years old. He has grown into the most handsome, loveable guy you could hope for. A new hedgehog, treats from the doggie bakery, and a little steak with his dinner will make it a good birthday for him (and Sophie who will get the same!). How did we ever get by, way back in BC (Before Cairns)??

to the years before Jesus was born as Before Common Era, i.e., BCE rather than AD.

Now BC has a new meaning.)

Thanks everyone for the good wishes & compliments. Bailey & Sophie enjoyed his birthday, finished up the steak the next day, and have a few doggie-bakery leftovers to enjoy this week. Life as a Cairn is pretty good !!
