Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Gus had a great day - he didn't get to ride a SeaDoo, but did get a long hike around a local lake, special treats and visits with his best buddies. Not to mention his beautiful new collar (more of a present for me I guess).

Gus says, "Being 4 years old is terrific, isn't it, Tanner & Kirby? Now I like to cuddle with my mom at night on the couch!"

Mom likes that too!

Yeah, four years old is a great age. Kirby is more of a love 'em and leave 'em guy though, he jumps up happily (and frequently) for a quick kiss and scratch, then it's back to patrol for squirrels and chipmunks. He's got such a busy schedule! I get to force him to cuddle just before bed. I tell him that's the price he has to pay for the cushy life he lives.
