New camera, old model

I have bought myself a new camera and so decided to try it out on photos of Holly [did not want to try the video yet] so anyone watching me would have thought I was crazy as I tried to get her to pose nicely and look at me! Such good thing with digital camera isn't that you can get rid of the pictures of a dog's butt as she walks away, or an ear if she decides to lie down! However, managed to get the following shot

She was stripped about 3 weeks ago.

It is a Panasonic Lumix[DMC] TZ18 - I think the USA version of same model is called something slightly different. Has 14mp and 16X optical zoom.

Might be an 'old model' but a perfect subject. Lovely lady.

US version is DMC-ZS8--thought I recognized that number Last Christmas' present to myself--a 'pocket-able' digital camera. You're absolutely right about the deletion asset! I've learned to set mine on multiple shots, so I usually get some 'good accidents'. [PS> a class10 SD card helps the speed.]

Wow, Holly - we have the same camera, and got it to take photos in Scotland last fall. DH is much better at operating it than I am, which is when you don't get dog photos from us...

How much did u pay for it?

If it was in euro's I can convert.. (Or Try, lol )

I was getting video of fonzy barking at the blender..... but I went to go turn on my camera, it failed............... I had to return it to the company for repair, they said 2-5weeks... so no fonzy

I will probably buy that camera though, thanks for sharing!
