T's new "trick"

T Bone is quite demonstrative about what he wants or needs. And every night around 7:30 or 8, he will bark up a storm to be let out in the back yard for a quick whiz. He doesn't wait patiently if we are in the middle of something -- just nonstop barking.

Lately DH has been going down after dinner into the "man cave" in the basement where he watches basketball on his LARGE television. The dogs are gated into the kitchen,and that's usually where I am. For the last few nights after DH has gone downstairs, T has started his bark, I have opened the gate into the back hall to let him outide the back door, and T has scooted quick as a rabbit down the back stairs to join DH on the comfy couch.

I think he thinks he has me conned! But I've been letting him do it, and of course that is probaby reinforcing that behavior. Little brat!

Isn't it cute when they really think that we humans don't know what their up to. ... and yes we play their game. T-Bone is so spoiled he gets to watch ball sports with dad in the man cave.
