Angus often 'smiles' like this when we begin to play. Sometimes he's holding a toy in his paws at the same time. Tail is going at the other end. My other dogs have always had their mouths more open when in this play mode. This is new and very amusing to me.

Gotta say cairns pups are always ready for fun!

When I saw the title "Vampire Cairn" I had to read this. Angus does look like he's in touch with his dark side. Has he been watching the Twilight series?

Love it! Can't help but notice he has beautiful white teeth!

What really completes this vampiric image is the glowing eyes!

(BTW, I've never really seen a dogs nose from that angle either!)

We've seen this before. Vampire Cairn ready to strike an innocent, unknowing victim!

Great pictures Hillscreek and Idaho! I love that look. I can never get a picture of Kelly like that, as soon as she sees the camera she wants it.

I have been wondering what you've been up to Idaho. You've been rather quiet. But now I see - it's been a little scary at your house.

Cairns should be in horror movies. How can they look so adorably sweet and then look so viciously awful? Love the pics.

Actually, we have been traveling a bit the last couple of months, had a death in the family, and other matters have come up this Spring that haven't allowed me to be on as much as in the winter. The girls have been good, lots on exciting experiences with other dogs, the wilds of Idaho, and coyotes trying to lure them into the sage brush so they have been up to their usual adventures. Other than that all is well with us. Thanks for asking Lori. How's that calf doing???

Hillscreek - What you took a picture of your carpet? Where is the cairn? Where's the vampire cairn? :confused1:

Angus has the most perfect pearly whites... He should be in a doggie toothpaste commercial!

FEAR THE CAIRN!

Gracie is still doing great. Maybe after spring planting I can get up there to get a pic.

Thank you for the compliments on his teeth.

it's true that Angus's teeth are pearly white but we gotta confess he's only had them for a couple of months being that he's only eight months old. In fact the last lingering baby canine just came out last evening.

His new teeth are huge just like they should be. Excellent for playing vampire cairn and grabbing hold of towels, small rugs and if he could catch it the chipmunk currently living in a pile of fallen branches.

Vampire teeth have their uses after all. This is Angus's favorite toy - the only one he has not destroyed that he's had from a baby. I think it's made of rubber or a rubber-type substance. Can stand up to any amount of abuse.

Sorry you have to click. I just can't seem to get the hang of transfering stuff. I learn. I forget!!

I look up, I forget. I practice, I forget.
