hand stripping a cairn - can i use mars coat king or furminator - really do not know what i am doing, but do not like the buzz cut i get from the groomer. does mars coat king take off top coat or undercoat?

A Mars will get both coats--seems like it gets a bit more of the undercoat but I am never sure. Go slow with the Mars, you can do some real damage if you get too enthusiastic with it.
