Malcolm's Dad Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Woof! Malcolm here. Daddy was watching the news. There was a story about protests and occupy. I asked daddy what that is. He said it's where people occupy a place, run around and make noise. Hey that sounds great! I'm very good at running around and making noise. I do it all the time. I occupy things too. When daddy gets up I occupy his chair and his place on the couch. I'm really good at that too. When daddy tries to get his place back I give him a fight just like those people give the police on tv. This is the perfect job for me.
Lynn in TN Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Malcolm you would be a lot cutter then the occupy group!

pindrop Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Hey I know that seat-seating pooch cause she lives at my house. They always want the warm spot and then give you grief when you try to displace them. Must be the typical sit-in protest, only they don't have signs. Ivy & Lucy's Mom Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Too funny-Ivy always takes my spot the minute I get up. Then when I return to sit down, she gives her big sad eyes and tail gently wagging. Sometimes, depending on my mood, she may win...other times, she loses....
Dempsy's Mom Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Demps does that with Jim all the time. Not so much me - but when Jim gets up from his chair it is definitely an invitation to a dual of the cushion. Dempsy loves harassing Jim. That antagonizing spirit is what I love about Cairns. It's kinda how my mother was - she was always full of fire. I would of loved to of had a Dempsy when she was alive. Those two would have bonded. It's funny, my sister, Mary, has mom's in personality and Demps has flagged her for a good challenge, but then my other sister, Kath, has been flagged as one to love and be nice too. I think Cairns are good "peggers" of people. Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori
Kathryn Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Yup! Only takes one cairn to protest and occupy. With two cairns, it becomes a conspiracy.
hheldorfer Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Protests and occupation are daily occurrences here and it's useless to fight it. If Cairns were occupying Wall Street even the National Guard wouldn't be able to budge them.
