Tami Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Fearghus will be two in April and already we're planning on a spectacular present. We felt that it was time for a second cairn to join our household. So far the breeder has had an ultrasound confirming the dam's pregnancy just before the new year. At the end of this month we'll find out how many pups there will be. If all goes well then the pups will be ready to go home in April. We're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to get a little female. I just wanted to say that we've seen such a change in Fearghus .. he's definitely becoming a bit more mellow and mature. Of course he still does the crazy runs but we now understand why everyone on the forum recommends that you wait until your first cairn is two before you add a second one. I'll have to post new pics of Fearghus soon. Cheers, Tami

lindasue Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Pegi turned 2 last August and I also have seen a big change. She's not so nuts anymore, and I think it's been at least 2 weeks since DH called her the 'terrorist".... Linda & Pegi
