Happy New Year everyone. Its a tradition in FL to shoot fireworks on New Years Eve, similiar to July 4th. Poop Baylee was bonkers for HOURS! Poorbaby.

Around here in the Ozarks, they shoot off their shotguns AND set off fireworks. Same effect, Packy sleeps through it and Kirby barks his head off. Happy New Year to all!

It was fairly quiet here just enough fireworks, gunshots, firecrackers to keep the dogs grumbling a bit--two of the little ones stayed awake until midnight so they had plenty of company right up until 2012. Hoping you all had a great celebration, I for one am happy to have 2011 behind us all and am looking forward to a fabulous 2012.

Happy New Year everyone! We had to go to a wedding last night (who gets married on New Year's eve?!) and missed our local firework display. I am sure Murphy and Gracie were pretty perturbed, even though the noise was in the distance. Neither likes the sound of fireworks.

Right now I am typing with one finger - i am lying in the recliner with Demps crashed out over my chest and a blanky snuggled up around us. ... our way of starting out the New Year. Computer is balancing on the armrest as I surf my favorite sites. We just don't feel like doing a darn thing. We wish you all Happy Times throughout the year.

Happy New Year to both sides of the Atlantic. Malcolm isn't bothered by the fireworks at all. He was sleeping comfortably on the couch and wasn't about to be bothered by any noise. People shoot guns around here too. But the stupid guy a few blocks over had to shoot at the police when they told him to stop. He won't be celebrating again, ever.
