Now That the Christmas Cards are Done...

So now that most everyone's Christmas cards have been sent and received, how about posting some of the pics so we all can enjoy them? We'll start...

This is one of the pictures that graced our Christmas card.

Yes, I loved that one too. So clever. My pics of Demps we of our first snow and so far our last snow - pretty uneventful. Here is two that were on the card.

I thought all the pics were great - but really enjoyed the dreams! and the pyjama legs, and demps and .............. oh dear - just loved them all!

I've got a picture of Kirby that looks almost exactly like the one of Dempsey that you posted! It was taken last year out in the timber at my Mom & Dad's.

As for getting them to hold the pose laying in bed together, that's what the "Stay" command is for. The promise of their favorite treats helps, too. I really tried to get them to close their eyes, but they wouldn't stay like that for more than half a second, and never at the same time.

Thanks for sharing all the photos...Gus & I celebrated Hannukah, solstice & Christmas but I am sadly lacking when it comes to cards and photos. But I have loved looking at all the pictures that have been posted.

Here's ours...Hub was staring at me because I kept stepping away...his separation anxiety actually came in handy for once!

Unfortunately we didn't join in in the card exchange this year but on Christmas morning Layla was so excited with her first present. We took this picture of her and made it into our new avatar. Somewhere under that hood are her eyes.

We call that the "couch toe dance" around here--it is the final move in a routine that starts with rubbing their mouths on the bottom of the couch and ends with them flopping over on their backs, staring up at us, upside down, pushing themselves with their hind legs against the couch and growling as they roll back and forth. It is NOT very lady like but it must serve some Cairn purpose beyond the realm of human understanding, silly from a human standpoint but a twice daily schtick for our girls.
