janis Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 To you and yours from Kirby and me, a very Happy Thanksgiving. I know one of the things I am thankful for is what I consider "My Cairn Family." all you folks who give great advice, relate wonderful heart warming stories, share beautiful pictures and provide kind and sympathetic hearts to all of us who post here. Kirby and I hope this is the start of a wonderful holiday season for you and yours! Janis P. S. I can't wait for the stories of the cairn babies and the Christmas trees/presents!
Lynn in TN Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Very well said Janis. I don't know what we would do without all of you. Thank you all and I hope you all have many blessings throughout the season!
hheldorfer Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I'd like to add my thanks as well. Buffy wouldn't be the great companion that she is today if I hadn't received great advice and encouragement from all of you. Actually, though, I guess I'm even more thankful that I discovered Cairns. What wonderful dogs!
AllAboutPetey Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 We have been out of the Cairn Talk loop for a good while, but wanted to chime in and wish all of you and your beloved Cairns Happy Thanksgiving from Petey and Belle's family.
Dempsy's Mom Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Yuppers! Dempsy and I agree - it's nice to have you all in our corner. Love sharing the ideas, the happy times, the learning times, the tragic times - wrap it all up in a box and you have the best gift ever. Thankful for all your giving. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori
Sam I Am Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Happy Thanksgiving to all the neighbours south of the border. We celebrated our Thanksgiving last month.. and I just want to chime in also and say that I am grateful to be in a group of animals lovers (especially Cairns ) that share such a wonderful bond Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. - Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie

Tuesday Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I, too, am thankful for this community. It affirms SO much knowing I'm not the only one out there with a Crazy Cairn! For those of you overseas and beyond, Happy November 24th!!!
KShep Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Don't want to hijack this topic...but Happy Thanksgiving to all AND......Happy Birthday to Ripley! My puppy is one year old today. Can't call her "puppy" anymore. This sweet baby is all grown up! I'm so thankful for her and, like everyone else, thankful for all of the puppy advice from my Cairn Talk friends!
tlwtheq Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Don't want to hijack this topic...but Happy Thanksgiving to all AND......Happy Birthday to Ripley! My puppy is one year old today. Can't call her "puppy" anymore. This sweet baby is all grown up! I'm so thankful for her and, like everyone else, thankful for all of the puppy advice from my Cairn Talk friends! You sure can call her puppy still! My 11 year old is still a puppy....and will be forever in my heart. Happy Birthday to Ripley and Happy Thanksgiving to all! Max and Nelly
Malcolm's Dad Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope you had a good time and lots of good food. To echo what has been said above I'm so thankful for the wonderful people on this forum. Without you either Malcolm or I would be locked in a cage. Malcolm can be one giant pain in the *** but I'm thankful I have him. Its getting cooler now so he likes to cuddle in bed at night. Snuggling with him makes up for whatever he has done during the day. Give your little devils a hug from us.
_whits_ Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Belatedly, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanskgiving (either this month or last), and a great November 24th (for our overseas Cairns and parents). I am very thankful to have found this site. The advice, suggestions, information, adorable pictures, frustrating and funny stories have made my first few months of Cairn mommyhood much less worrisome and stressful and much more enjoyable. If Addie knew, she'd appreciate all the tips that have made her more comfortable (though maybe not the ones that have made her more behaved). Thank you all for providing a place I can commiserate, learn, and laugh about life with a crazy Cairn. Life with my Addie is more rewarding and wonderful than I ever imagined and she is definitely the part of my life I'm most thankful for this year. "as far as i am concerned cairns are the original spirit from which all terriers spring, and all terriers are cairns very deep down inside." pkcrossley
