Some of us who live in reasonable distance got together yesterday afternoon at Clumber and the dogs had a wonderful time. The Iish Terrier is my friend's and Hollys best pal!

One of our members took these photos and I am sure he would not mind we sharing them with you as I think it shows how much Cairns can enjoy themselves in a fenced area off lead!

[this area is fenced at Natuonal Trust put sheep in every so often]

Thank you Josie for posting these pictures. Everyone looks like they had a marvelous time together and great photography on those action shots. You guys are very fortunate that you live close by to one another and can share in these adventures.

The weather was very kind to us yesterday - had some sunshine - this afternoon it has been greyer and colder!

The Cairns - my Holly is amongst them with the red/black harness, then the two grey brindle are Dilys and Poppy [mother and daughter]. Then the wheaton one is Scruffy [he is 19 mths old and has the same father as my Holly!] and the red one with the ruffmaster harness is Henry aged 18 mths.

Paddy is the odd one out as she is a Irish Terrier [whose ears should be down but are up] and she is nearly 4.

Looks like everyone had a fantastic time! I'm sure there were many exhausted Cairns and hoomans afterwards.

Here are 2 very short video's taken on the day, they reflect the mood - very happy dogs! ( not very good video's )

The afternoon was enjoyed by the 2 legged and the 4 legged variety!

I love to come home from work talk to the DH and play with Kelly and the kids then get on the forum and look at beautiful pictures and read all the stories. Thank you for sharing.

I really liked the pictures and movies of the dogs--typical outing with Cairns, every square inch sniffed and checked out. I too enjoy opening the Forum to pictures and vids of these lovely dogs. I thought Irish Terriers were taller and had dropped tips on the ears tho--still this one was sure pretty, love the color.

Irish Terriers should have dropped ears but Paddy's did not and it was to late for my friend Ann to do anything so she has large ears standing up which give her a look of constant surprise!! She and Holly get on so well together that is why Paddy joined us at Clumber as she loves other dogs! The videos are lovely.
