Dempsy's Mom Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Harvest will begin today - we will be starting on our wheat. Dempsy and I ran to the cities quick to visit cousin Trevor (hound) and my daughter. It was hot and humid. We took a potty break in this park with two statues of men sitting on a bench - Dempsy ran over to them, wagging his tail - poor little fart had such expectation of a little pat or a scratch - he sat there staring at them - then he glanced over his shoulder at me. "Mom, they are being poopey to me!" Oh, poor little sweetie - I thought. We did take the dogs to a fenced dog park - they had a great time. Dempsy just loved it. ... but he was happy to get home too. bradl Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Poor Dempsy. Some people are duds. Your experience reminds me of this video that's been making the rounds: CAIRNTALK: Questions? Hawkeye Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Poor Demps must wonder about those city people -- they act like a bunch of stiffs. Good thing you found a dog park for him to burn up a little energy. And Brad that video is great!
Dempsy's Mom Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Oh my gosh - that was exactly what it was like Brad! I was wishing that I would of had my flip with me - it really makes you feel bad for them - yup, right on about how they must be thinking "stiff city people." Thanks for the video. Lynn in TN Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I'm laughing so hard but at the same time feeling so sorry for both! I can't make up my mind whether I want to laugh or cry.
ScruffynMag Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Poor Dempsy and Brad what a great video, I too didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that poor dog trying to play with the miserable stone faced man!! www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk
Kathryn Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 DId you come to "my" cities - the Twin Cities? Demps could have visited Allie and T Bone -- talk about a triple threat!
hheldorfer Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I bet Dempsy really enjoyed his trip and his visit with Trevor, even though those city folks are rude. Good luck with harvest - you'll be plenty busy! How many acres of wheat do you have?
Dempsy's Mom Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Yes - it was the twin cities and we would of stopped for a short visit. You never know - maybe sometime! Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori
