A Quick Trip to the Cities

Dempsy's Mom

Harvest will begin today - we will be starting on our wheat. Dempsy and I ran to the cities quick to visit cousin Trevor (hound) and my daughter. It was hot and humid. We took a potty break in this park with two statues of men sitting on a bench - Dempsy ran over to them, wagging his tail - poor little fart had such expectation of a little pat or a scratch - he sat there staring at them - then he glanced over his shoulder at me. "Mom, they are being poopey to me!" Oh, poor little sweetie - I thought.

We did take the dogs to a fenced dog park - they had a great time. Dempsy just loved it. ... but he was happy to get home too.

Poor Demps must wonder about those city people -- they act like a bunch of stiffs. Good thing you found a dog park for him to burn up a little energy.

And Brad that video is great!

Oh my gosh - that was exactly what it was like Brad! I was wishing that I would of had my flip with me - it really makes you feel bad for them - yup, right on about how they must be thinking "stiff city people." :P Thanks for the video.

I'm laughing so hard but at the same time feeling so sorry for both! I can't make up my mind whether I want to laugh or cry.

Poor Dempsy and Brad what a great video, I too didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that poor dog trying to play with the miserable stone faced man!!

DId you come to "my" cities - the Twin Cities? Demps could have visited Allie and T Bone -- talk about a triple threat!

I bet Dempsy really enjoyed his trip and his visit with Trevor, even though those city folks are rude. :P Good luck with harvest - you'll be plenty busy! How many acres of wheat do you have?

Yes - it was the twin cities and we would of stopped for a short visit. You never know - maybe sometime!
